This was the Township building with the town office in the front part and fire hall on the left side.
The OPP office was at the rear with the jail cell down stairs.
The top front was the library, and the rear part was the council chambers and was used for court as well.
This photo was taken in 1957/58 or soon after, as the OPP cruiser is either a 1957 or 1958
Dodge. The amblance is a 1953 Pontiac, and the fire truck is a 1947 International.
